The Everly Brothers – Bowling Green (Warner Bros)

“Bowling Green” / “I Don’t Want To Love You” (Warner Bros WB 7520) April 1967

Record reviews from the British music press:

Horn intro, then a good hefty beat. This is unmistakable Everly material . . . a good song, catchy melody and a tremendous warmth in the backing track. Crystal clear, too. These blokes remain truly distinctive – and who could ask for anything more? Easy mid-tempo. Wistful.
Flip: starts with solo voice, slowly, then speeds up splendidly. (Record Mirror, 29/04/67)
